How Laurel handles your information, in plain English.

What we collect

When you visit Laurel, we record which pages you open and which buttons you press. If you opened a personal link from one of our emails, those visits are linked to you, so we know who looked. If you fill in a form, check a domain or use a calculator, we keep what you entered.

Why

To answer you, to set Laurel up for the first 10 customers, and to learn which features matter most so we build those first. We don’t sell your information and we don’t use it for advertising.

What is stored on your device

No cookies. If you log in with your personal link, your browser keeps that link’s code so you stay logged in, because you asked to log in. Otherwise a random visit number is kept only for this tab and is gone when you close it. There is no advertising or analytics cookie, so there is no cookie banner.

Where it lives

Your information is held with Supabase (our database) and the site is served by Netlify. Only our team can read it.

How long

We keep it while we talk to you about the product and for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact page or reply to any email from Tim, and it’s done within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (UK) or the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Netherlands).
