Why the Same Details Get Typed Five Times
The first call notes, the arrangement form, the cremation forms, the order to the printer and the invoice each ask for the same names and dates. In Word and Excel they live in separate files, so they are typed again each time. In Laurel they live in one case file, and everything else is filled in from it.
Your Price List, Kept Up to Date
Since 2021 the CMA has required funeral directors to publish a standard price list on their website. In the UK, Laurel keeps that page up to date from the same prices you use for estimates, so you change a price in one place.
